Enogu

Who is Enogu?

Enogu is a group of Japanese Virtual Idols, and they are part of Iwamoto-chou Geinousha's virtual idol project. They began with just two members, Suzuki Anzu and Shirafuji Tamaki, and they started posting videos on YouTube on August 28, 2017. Later on, on December 25, 2017, they introduced a new group called the Actresses Unit with three new members: Natsume Haru, Hinata Nao, and Kurihara Sakurako

On February 21, 2018, Enogu became a complete group by merging these two units. Then, on May 5, 2018, they had their first live performance as a group of five girls, and they sang their first song, "Enogu."

History of Enogu

In January 2020, Kurihara Sakurako had to leave the group because of poor health. She had been absent from streams, events, and performances since April 2019.

By December 31, 2022, it's expected that Enogu will become a trio again after Natsume Haru's graduation. Initially, when they first announced the group's creation, fans misunderstood the message and thought there would be entirely new members. This caused a lot of backlash. The chief manager, Yuuta Marumo, had to explain that they were just merging the existing groups, not replacing anyone. The misunderstanding caused problems, and an apology video was released on February 23, 2018, to clear things up.
