Who is ShaaanXo?
Shannon Harris, under the nickname Shanxoo, is a YouTube beauty vlogger, also active on other social media platforms. She was born on 12th August 1992 in New Zealand as an only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she stayed with her mother until they moved to Korea. Her mother stayed there, but Shannon was used to the New Zealand environment and decided to live there.

While still at school, Shannon discovered her interest in makeup and often borrowed it from her mom to try it on. Like other young girls, she started to watch YouTube tutorials and videos about makeup while learning it herself. She was looking for some creators near her but realized no bigger creators were coming from New Zealand. As she felt more confident with her own skills, she decided to change that by starting her own YouTube career in 2010 under the name Shaaanxo. As a woman who likes to share her experiences with others, she created her second channel, Shaaanxo vlogs, just a year after. During these series, she posted one video at a time, always focused on one specific subject or colour, and it went viral.

In 2021, Shannon married her longtime partner, another YouTube star, Hamish Kennard. But ever since they started dating, Shaaanxo was open about her personal life on her second vlogging channel. But not just her dating life, Shannon also shares cooking videos, different challenges and overall life experiences. One of those is a cosmetic procedure done on her boobs, which she has been entirely open about. Her fans were happy that she didn’t lie about it, but they mostly loved learning something new and watching her post-op process. On May 2022, Shannon and Hamish had a son, and Shannon naturally shares her love and happiness but also struggles with her followers. But it doesn’t mean that her account has completely changed; only her fashion hauls changed on baby fashion.
After her YouTube channel became so popular in New Zealand, Shannon saw another great opportunity, as there aren’t that many beauty vloggers or makeup brands. As a response, she founded her own makeup brand XoBeauty, selling mainly makeup brushes and fake lashes. This brand was a huge success and heavily expanded throughout New Zealand, so they also added lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and other beauty products. Shaaanxo also collaborated with BH Cosmetics and created her own eyeshadow palette of 18 shades.
