Rahat Hossain is an American prankster, magician and internet personality who is active on YouTube, Instagram and other social platforms under the name MagicbyRahat. He was born on 19th December 1989 in Virginia Beach, United States. He is known for posting various pranks and challenges on his social media.
Early life of Rahat Hossain
Rahat grew up alongside his parents and siblings in the United States, where he lived all his life. He came from a close-knit family who always had his back and supported him no matter what. Rahat discovered his passion for creating things at a young age when he began building stuff with just a piece of old cardboard and duct tape. Since he was a decent magician at the time, Rahat decided to use it for fun. He prepared his garments and filmed himself ordering at the drive-through but with a little twist. Once the employee looked out of the window to hand Rahat his food, they discovered that the car was empty. In this prank, Rahat dressed up as a car seat and drove through the drive-thru, making it look like his car was driving itself. The reactions of the employees were priceless. This was Rahat's most famous prank, which has been viewed over 50 million times.

Rahat's pranks were often elaborate and involved dressing up in various costumes and disguises in order to trick and surprise unsuspecting members of the public. While The Invisible Driver prank made Rahat go viral and collected millions of new fans, it didn't stay at the top. After all, it wasn't Rahat's only trick up his sleeve. His most popular video is Walking on Water Prank, with over 93 million views.
In this video, Rahat created a tool which allowed him to walk on water. Once he perfected the mechanism, Rahat hid his camera away and began pranking. In the scene, Rahat walks through the park, looking at his phone. He seemed to be completely lost in his phone, so much that he continued walking even when he reached the lake. Once he stepped on the lake and continued walking, that's when the whole fun began. People began staring at Rahat, questioning their right minds. Once they found out that it was a prank, all the strangers began laughing.

In 2014, Rahat uploaded a video called Homeless Lottery Winner, which went viral. In the video, Rahat gave a homeless man called Eric a lottery ticket and told him to keep whatever he won. Eric scratched the ticket and won 1000 dollars. Once the video got uploaded, fans felt sorry for Eric and wanted to help him as well. Rahat decided to raise a fundraiser, and after a while, he collected over 40 thousand dollars. A few months later, Rahat uploaded a video where he bought a house and gifted it to Eric. He also said that all the earnings from the fundraiser would go to rent and clothing for Eric.
Once Eric was taken care of, Rahat returned to filming pranks until 2018. In 2018, Eric created his own YouTube channel just to tell the truth about the whole situation. Eric stated that he didn't get the money from the fundraiser and that he was only allowed to stay in the bought house for two months. To make sure that Eric wouldn't end up homeless again, Rahat told him that he had to find a job in order to receive everything Rahat prepared for him. Eric managed to find a job but ended up getting fired because he skipped work or showed up intoxicated. After that, Rahat kept believing in Eric and created a joined back account so Eric could see his money, but he had to ask Rahat to send it. After a while, Eric began acting aggressive and suspicious and asking for a lot of money. Rahat denied him the money only to receive threats from Eric. Once Eric spent all the money, he only began filming the YouTube videos to blackmail Rahat into sending him more.
After the whole situation, Rahat was exhausted and needed some time off. He left YouTube and stopped posting altogether. While there were some people who still didn't believe his sight of story, most of his fans stayed loyal and wrote him supporting messages. Rahat felt miserable and unable to think of new pranks, still shocked about the whole situation with Eric. Once he felt okay again, Rahat filmed an explanation video, where he showed receipts of all the money he sent to Eric. Weeks later, Eric filmed a video where he stated that he forgave Rahat for keeping the money. Fortunately, people already knew the truth and were angry at Eric for using Rahat's generosity like that. Luckily, once the situation calmed down, Rahat came back and began filming YouTube videos again.
