Who is SwagBoyQ?

Q Shamar Stenline is an American social media personality, prankster, internet celebrity, YouTuber and one of the most popular TikTokers in the world known on the internet as SwagBoyQ. He has often been “kicked out” of major retail outlets, as those are the places he chooses to play pranks on people. His main aim in life is to spread joy through entertainment.

Personal life of SwagBoyQ

Q Shamar Stenline was born on 11th March 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America. However, his family moved to Houston, Texas, where Shamar was raised. There is not much-known information about his family and love life as Shamar keeps it private.

SwagBoy calls his fans “ShwaggyGang” and shared they are, for him, more like a family. In one interview, in particular, SwagBoy even stated his sole purpose in life is to put a smile on the faces of people who follow him, and he chooses entertainment to make the world a better place. 

In January 2020 interviews with The Hype Magazine, Swagboy shared he grew up watching comedians and actors such as Kevin Hart and aspired to be like them. 

SwagBoy also joked about how he was “kicked out” of places such as Walmart, Target, and Foot Locker, as those were the venues he often chose for his pranks. He even described how Walmart now keeps an eye on him whenever he visits any store in the country. 

However, he also mentioned how he feels lucky to be recognized by random people on the streets, in malls, and elsewhere, who come up to him for autographs and selfies.

SwagBoy stops his pranks if they get too serious about avoiding getting into legal hassles. However, he believes his stunts help him interact with different types of people and that allows him to observe people’s personalities and helps him grow.

The career of SwagBoyQ

In September 2019, SwagBoyQ created his TikTok account. In around two years, he gained over 20 million followers and became one of the top 100 most followed content creators on TikTok. He is known for his entertaining lip-syncs, pranks, challenge videos, and sketch-comedy clips on the platform.

In June 2020, he teamed up with Australian reality TV star and social-media sensation Harry Jowsey of “Too Hot to Handle” and “Heartbreak Island”, one of his TikTok videos. One of his pranks involved masquerading as a bush on a sidewalk and surprising passers-by while recording their reactions.

Since becoming such a TikTok sensation, SwagBoy decided to branch out into other social media platforms. Since then, he has created his YouTube channel, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat account. He keeps posting various pranks, vlogs, and challenge videos.

Even though SwagBoy promotes his own merchandise through his Instagram account, he decided to keep his Instagram private for a long time. Only ppl who followed him could see his posts.
