Roman Bernard Atwood was born on May 28th, 1983. He is an American personality, prankster and vlogger. Most importantly, he is the second person who got two diamond YouTube play buttons for both of his channels. First one being Germán Garmendia.
Roman started his career as a prankster with the “RomanAtwood” channel. This channel currently holds over 10 million subscribers and has gained more than 1.3 billion views. Sadly, this channel has been inactive since 2016.
On the other hand, Roman moved on with his content and started creating vlogs on his new “RomanAtwoodVlogs” channel and even surpassed his old channel. This vlog channel gained over 15 million subscribers and around 5 billion views.
Personal life of Roman Atwood
Roman Atwood was born in Millersport, Ohio. He has a very close relationship with his parents Curtis Dale Atwood and Susan Ann Christman. Roman one younger brother Dale Atwood. They often post pictures on social media, mainly Instagram.
Roman’s comedy past goes way back before YouTube became a thing. Before his YouTube career, Roman worked in a family business called “Atwood Rope”. After he decided to focus on his comedy career, Roman released a series of DVDs called “The Nerd Herd”, which he sold at Warped Tour in 2006. Subsequently collaborated on various film projects and commercials in Columbus, Ohio. Finally, in 2010, Roman decided to start up his own business and created a “Sketch Empire” channel.

It currently sits comfortably above 50 million views. In this prank, Atwood pranked his own wife by throwing their “son” Kane dressed in a Spider-man costume. Brittney then runs to their son and pulls off the mask to find out it is a mannequin. With all of those emotions trying to get out, she breaks into tears and storms out on Roman. The video ends with his wife yelling, he sleeps on a couch tonight. This prank was mentioned in the reality TV series Tanked, where Brittney confirmed Roman slept that night on a couch.
“Cops Get Owned!! - Epic Pee Prank” is Atwood’s breakthrough video. He finally got attention, and his fame just kept rising from this point. It was posted on March 4th, 2012 and currently has more than 23 million views. This video features his friend Dennis Roady pretending to pee in front of police officers.

Although this time, Roman was the one who got pranked. Brittney saw the camera beforehand, and after Roman fake-confessed, he cheated on her. Brittney admitted she cheated on him too. Plastic Ball Prank uploaded on January 18th, 2016, was a different kind of prank. To be honest, it wasn’t really a prank. Roman filled his house with plastic balls and turned it into a massive ball pit. After that, Roman got a call from Nissan, and they traded him a 2015 Nissan GTR to use his video in their “WithDad” campaign. This advert was used during Super Bowl XLIX half-time. It was awarded as a best “Brand Campaign” for the 5th Streamy Awards.

Even if you feel like owning a Ferrari means you can park wherever you want, even on a handicapped spot, Roman thinks differently. “Attacked By Ferrari Owner - Pee Prank” is a prank, as you might have guessed. There is a lot of shouting and yelling coming from the Ferrari owner, but no one gets hurt in the end.
Roman’s provocative controversy, and no one should be surprised he even got arrested. ATM prank was widely discussed amongst the internet and public media. Roman and his friends pretended to rob an ATM in public and got arrested. They were released on bail but got summoned to court. Many of Roman’s fans attended the court to show support and watch the case. Roman won the case in the end based on freedom of speech and expression of art.
