Early life of Stephanie Buttermore
Stephanie grew up alongside her parents, who were very educated people. They both expected her to follow in their footsteps, which inspired Stephanie to study harder than others. Since she didn't have a problem keeping up with her high school classmates, she had time to attend soccer training while keeping her status as a straight-A student.
Education and scientific work of Stephanie Buttermore
After completing high school, Stephanie applied to the University of Central Florida, where she was immediately accepted. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Micro/Molecular Biology and started working on her master's degree. Stephanie decided to study two specializations and managed to get a degree in both of them. Her study fields included Medical Sciences, Women's Health and Pathology & Cell Biology. Although it might seem like an extreme amount of work, Stephanie still wasn't done with her education. Her dream was to research cancer treatments, and to do that, she needed her PhD. She also succeeded in this field and graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Science, Pathology & Cell Biology.
In her doctoral thesis, Stephanie researched the possibilities of early detection of Ovarian Cancer. Since her research was essential and could possibly save lives, Stephanie experienced a lot of stress. In order to stay focused and relieve stress, she started to work out. As her research grew bigger, Stephanie visited the gym more often. Eventually, she found out that she was enjoying herself, allowing herself to think about her own problems and her life.
Fitness career of Stephanie Buttermore
From 2011 to 2013, Stephanie spent hours in the gym, working out without caring for rest or nutrition. She didn't care about the healthy way of exercising; she just enjoyed the process. In 2014 she became so fit that she decided to try and compete in a fitness bikini show. She attended the 2014 NPC Sunset Classic, and even though she was new, she walked out as a winner. She decided that it was a big enough achievement on its own and that she didn't want to compete again. But since she had already gotten used to the bodybuilders' diet plan, she kept eating these small portions of food. Stephanie got stuck in a mindset that she had to stay lean, even when she didn't plan to compete again.
Stephanie Buttermore's fitness journey
Stephanie continued eating her extremely imbalanced diet and ignored the symptoms of hunger. She kept on going until 2016 when she discovered flexible dieting. She finally started to eat more balanced meals and allowed herself some occasional snacks. Stephanie created her Instagram account in 2014 while she was still studying and started posting photos from the lab, where she practised her research. Since she started working out, her content switched to lean fitness photos and pictures of her workouts. Stephanie's following grew, and shortly after, she collected hundreds of thousands of followers. Her fans asked her to film her recommended training programs, which led Stephanie to create her YouTube channel in 2017.
By that time, Stephanie already broke free from her toxic expectations and started to eat healthier. But since she joined YouTube, she wanted to "look good" for her followers and fell into the same habits again. Stephanie's fans supported her, and some even suggested that she might need to gain some weight. She decided to try "bulking" because it was popular at the time. But unfortunately, Stephanie's expectations were rooted deep, and she quit after a while because she felt fat. By 2019, Stephanie was actively overtraining, looking shredded as if she was going to another competition. Obviously, it didn't help with the overwhelming hunger she felt all the time.

It took her almost another whole year to realize that she should eat as much as her body requests. It took a lot of determination, but Stephanie pushed through her intrusive thoughts and started to eat intuitively. As expected, she gained some weight, but her body was finally happy. She realized that she didn't need to answer to society's picture of beauty as long as she was happy and healthy. Stephanie's fans supported her throughout the way, and some of them grew mentally alongside her. Her new motto became "Eating without Restrictions", which she acted on and still does. Nowadays, Stephanie doesn't fear to show her followers all the food she eats, even if it seems like a lot. She enjoys living life in her new healthy body and inspires others to listen to their cravings.
