Who is Natacha Oceane?

Natacha Oceane is an English fitness influencer who is active on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms. She was born on 6th August 1993 in London, England. She is known for posting fitness and lifestyle-related content on YouTube and Instagram.

Early life and education of Natacha Oceane

Natacha grew up alongside her two sisters. She has always been an outdoorsy person who liked to spend her time outside playing games or doing sports. After successfully completing her basic education, she applied to University College London, where she would study biophysics. After graduating with a master's degree in Biophysics, she immediately started working on her PhD in the same field. She was sure that she wanted to complete her high education and work in the same field until something changed.

While visiting a local film festival, she stood there for some time and admired great camera work and felt the stories being told. At some point, she started thinking if she really enjoyed what she was doing, and if she didn't have other goals in life, then PhD. She realised that she wasn't exactly happy. She studied for her PhD because she got into a really good University with a great reputation, but suddenly she realised that there was no other reason for it.

Science behind fitness

Natacha loved working out and fitness, and she liked watching YouTube videos. But one day, she saw that most fitness videos aren't scientifically explained. Influencers were doing specific exercises but didn't mention the science behind them and why did they work. At that moment, Natacha realised that she had found a market gap. She found a gap in the YouTube fitness scene and wanted to fill it. She had personally experienced over-exercising and extreme dieting to achieve some sort of the perfect body type. That made her think about creating her own YouTube channel just to help people understand fitness and accept their own bodies.

Natacha finally created her YouTube channel in 2015 and started posting videos. Her early content consisted of workout videos, diet plans and fitness sketches. Most of her videos lacked audio because she was really camera-shy. She either didn't talk at all or just a little. It took her almost two years to feel comfortable in front of a camera, but when she finally did, her channel rapidly grew.

Natacha's channel includes everything that she thought was missing on YouTube. One of her series called How To includes videos of her explaining simple exercises and how to keep the perfect form. Another series is dedicated to nutrition since she wanted to help people start eating healthy without damaging diets. Regarding lifestyle, she created a series called Health is Wealth, which discusses more serious parts of fitness. She filmed videos based on her own experiences with the toxic side of the fitness industry and how she got out of the damaging mindset.

This attitude has collected her over 1,5 million loyal fans, who impatiently wait for every new video.

What makes Natacha's personality so entertaining is that she can't resist any good challenge. Besides working out regularly and eating healthy, she likes to see what her body can do. In her Fitness Experiments series, she tries out different types of challenges and talks about their benefits for her. She filmed herself while trying to complete the US Army fitness test and recently trying to run for 24 hours straight. She constantly pushes her limits and inspires her audience to do it as well.
