Carli Bybel is an American beauty YouTuber who is also active on Instagram and other social media. She was born on 17th October 1990 in New Jersey. She has an older sister, who shared a bedroom with her while they were staying in a relatively small house. Their father owned a glass business, and after it became successful, they moved to a bigger place. Although Carli is allergic to horses, she spared most of her free time on her family’s horse ranch, where she learned how to take care of horses and how to ride them. While attending high school, she was a cheerleader, and since she knew how it was to live poor, she got a job at Starbucks when she was 16.

Her parents began fighting on a daily basis and eventually divorced, resulting in her father moving away with his new girlfriend. Carli discovered her passion for makeup in high school, which led to an excellent start for her future career. Cheerleaders are required to wear makeup and overall look presentable at all times. Carli’s teammates noticed that her makeup was always on point, so when she offered to make theirs, most of them agreed without hesitating. Carli’s channel consisted mainly of makeup and hair tutorials at first. Her speciality was “clean makeup look”, which basically means that the makeup is as subtle and natural as possible. Later, she started filming daily vlogs and mainly GRWM’s, which allowed her to do her makeup and talk about her life and communicate with her audience.

She is one of a few beauty vloggers who started a Mukbang series. Mukbang videos are all about food, meaning that Carli made a large order from a specific restaurant and filmed herself while eating. Although it may seem like a pointless act, this series became very popular. One of the reasons may be that seeing a slim woman eating this large amount of food is strangely comforting for some women. In a time when every woman is encouraged to lose weight and only valued if she takes care of herself and eats healthy, Carli decided to break the pattern and just eat as much as she likes.

In 2013 Carli began to date a fitness trainer Brett Caprioni. He appeared regularly on Carli’s YouTube channel and participated in some challenges. During that time, they were spoken of as the YouTube power couple, but unfortunately, they broke up in 2017. Their breakup became public since both of them were active on social media and talked about it on their YouTube channels. In 2019 she started dating Anthony Tango, who is a barber. They looked very happy on social media, and their relationship survived even the pandemic when they saw each other every day. In 2020, Carli released a video announcing that she was expecting a child. Their son Lorenzo was born in 2021 when the couple started to get in trouble. As of 2022, their relationship seems to be On & Off, but the only thing that matters is that the baby is happy.

Same as many other beauty vloggers, Carli decided to create her own brand in 2017. But her brand isn’t only about making money, at least not for her.
