Who owns the howtoPRANKitup channel?

The proud owner of the howtoPRANKitup YouTube channel is Dennis Roady, who confirmed his involvement a few years back. While he might seem like the type who was hilarious since he was a child, it wasn't always the case. Dennis initially worked as a firefighter and paramedic before ever stepping foot into the entertainment industry. Dennis used to work as a firefighter who saved the lives of his fellow citizens on a daily basis. While he enjoyed his job and was happy to help others, Dennis felt that the job was a lot challenging. Even though he picked his job for a reason, Dennis often found himself exhausted, lying in bed and thinking about all the horrors he saw.

To battle his black thought, Dennis found himself browsing through the internet, looking for funny pictures and videos to ease his mind. Not only did it work, but it gave Dennis an inspiration. He realised that people needed to laugh even on their worst days, and he decided to help. In his free time, Dennis began practising telling jokes and researching different ways of entertainment. After the needed research, he bought a camera and decided to film himself while telling jokes and practising different comedic content.

Dennis took his job as a firefighter and paramedic very seriously, causing him to feel uneasy sometimes. He pushed himself every single day, giving away smiles to everyone he came to touch with. Eventually, he decided to change fields as he felt like his mind needed something else. Dennis took all of the footage he had filmed by then and began working on it day and night. In a matter of weeks, he learned everything he needed to know about edition videos. Once he was satisfied with the outcome, Dennis created his first YouTube channel called Dennis Roady Deeds in 2011. Once it was all ready and set to go, Dennis began posting his videos on YouTube.

Even though he initially enjoyed stand-up comedy and joke telling, Dennis found interest in other fields of the entertainment industry. Just when he joined YouTube, there was a trend involving social experiments and pranks. Since he wanted to attract as many people as possible, Dennis began filming pranks as well, which finally gained him some recognition. Since it did so well, Dennis decided to change his strategy and start over. In 2013, Dennis created a new YouTube channel, which he decided to name howtoPRANKitup. On the new channel, Dennis could appear incognito, which he enjoyed.

As Dennis's popularity grew, he began collaborating with other well-known YouTubers, further expanding his reach and influence. Collaborations with renowned pranksters like Roman Atwood and Vitaly Zdorovetskiy helped solidify his position in the prankster community and introduced him to new audiences. Moreover, Roady ventured beyond YouTube, appearing on television shows and participating in live events, which allowed him to connect with fans on a more personal level. His prank videos often involved surprising and amusing unsuspecting individuals in public places. Roady's pranks are known for their light-hearted nature, with a focus on spreading laughter and positivity rather than causing harm or distress to others. He frequently collaborates with other popular YouTubers and has made appearances on television shows such as "Dude Perfect" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Roady understood the importance of striking a balance between comedy and empathy, ensuring that his pranks never crossed any ethical boundaries or caused undue distress. By spreading laughter, he created a positive and uplifting experience for his loyal viewers. While his fellow prankster colleagues were often accused of making unethical pranks, Dennis kept teaching his followers all about easy pranking. Unlike others, Dennis didn't try to capture all the strongest emotions while pulling and filming a prank. He genuinely only cared about the laughter which came from the happiness and amusement of his "victims". Because of this approach, Dennis became one of the most popular pranksters among his viewers.

HowtoPRANKitup – Popular videos

At the very beginning of Dennis's YouTube career, he helped to create one of the most funny and relatable pranks of all time. One of his first videos included the shampoo prank. In the video, Dennis mixed a shampoo with water which he secretly placed on people's hands while using a public shower. The unsuspected victims kept rinsing out shampoo for a long time until realising that something was wrong. Besides the whole process being captured on camera, it made all the bystanders laugh out loud, including Dennis himself. His most popular video is 10 Magic Pranks – How To Prank, with over 31 million views. In that video, Dennis was captured learning about magicians and trying their tricks himself. Once he mastered them, he included them in some of his prank tutorials, which people loved.

Where is Dennis Roady?

While his channel remains one of the most popular among all the prank channels, Dennis seems to vanish from YouTube. While he owns at least three comedy YouTube channels, not one of them seems to be active at the moment. In 2019, Dennis filmed a video titled "I quit". The video scared some people at the beginning before turning out to be a prank as well. But in the video, Dennis said some things which may have caused him to leave YouTube just a few years later. Since the beginning of his channel, Dennis has grown on YouTube and in his personal life. He had found a loving wife who gave birth to Dennis's son. Unfortunately, their son was diagnosed with cancer, which made Dennis leave YouTube for a while.

As he later admitted, the YouTube algorithm changed too fast, leaving Dennis on a side track when he came back. He was replaced by huge corporates, posting several videos a day. Not only were the videos more frequent, but they were a lot less thought through, which made Dennis a little bit mad. While he spent weeks thinking of a good prank to post, the other channels gained millions of views for a few scenes filmed in princess costumes. Because of this, some of Dennis's most loyal followers believe that he eventually left for all the same reasons. Luckily, Dennis left all of the posted videos untouched, letting people laugh at them even a few years later.
